Chantelle Nandi is one of the UK's finest Soul singers and theatrical performers, gracing the stage of venues such as The Hackney Empire, Pizza Express Dean street, The Royal Festival Hall and world music venue “Viva Viva”.
Her voice is known to silence crowds with its combination of soft, soothing melodies and powerful vocal expression that is reminiscent of her predecessors that have influence her (Ella Fitzgerrald, Jill Scott, Luther Vandross and Erykah Badu)
Her first taste of theatre was with Stratdford circus then The Hackney empire, training in music and honing her artistry spurred her on to venture into taking her interest into music education and choir directing to a professional level.Since joining the 'Soulful Hip-Hop' collective (Descendants of a Quest) on their debut album Chantelle has headlined their performances at the BBC proms, the London Jazz Festival and the Daughters of Soul to name a few. Chantelle has become an integral addition to the D.Q live line-up of whome she is currently in the process of producing her debut EP with. (coming out in 2010)
Supported by a full live band Chantelle's inspiring and versatile repertoire is set to take the music scene by storm.
